Unlike so many tooled leather gifts, this 6 ounce, Texas Flag flask was designed, tooled, painted, stamped and stained in Texas - by me (the owner of Truly Texan).   The earth-friendly tanned leather was stained with Eco-Flo, an environmentally safer stain and finish than what's used by most foreign leather companies. 

So, do your part to keep the earth clean by buying from someone you know isn't polluting our water.

This flask is one-of-a-kind because I create these for the pleasure of working with leather, not to make a living.  I carved the Texas flag outline and star and hand-painted it.  The upper and lower bands are created with a pebble design, stamped hundreds of times.   I finished the piece with 3 coats of protective sheen, but you should always use a funnel  to fill the flask.  No leather finish is safe from alcohol which is, after all, a solvent.
