WHO'S ELIGIBLE TO JOIN:

Your product, art, or service need NOT have a Texas theme, but you must live in Texas.

In rare cases, we will consider companies not in Texas, such as: you're a native Texan but you've been kidnapped and forced to live in some other state! And just because you say you're a native Texan doesn't mean we'll believe you. You will have to undergo strenuous testing and correctly respond to questions that only a real Texan could answer.  

WHAT WE DO FOR YOU:
Truly Texan advertises in American Cowboy (print and online) and on the major search engines.  Our online mall receives between 15,000 and 25,000 visitors/month (depends on the month and the state of the economy).

When magazine and tv folks call, looking for something for an article or movie or whatever, we direct them to the most appropriate member(s) of the mall. We do NOT give your phone number or other information to anyone unless it is on your website for the world to see. We do our best to make sure being a part of the mall is worth your money.

Online since August 1998, Truly Texan has been recognized by Texas Highways (July 2004), People Magazine (2003), the Austin American-Statesman (2002, 1998), Texas Technology, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Hood County News, and a number of other publications, both print and electronic.

We're listed as a resource in the design book, The Small Adobe House by Agnesa Reeve, Robert Reck (Aug 01, Gibbs Smith).

One of our members was interviewed by Home & Garden Television Network after being found via Truly Texan. 

Another is a 2003 Forbes Best of the Web site. 

Several of our members have been invited to the prestigious Texas Arts and Crafts Festival. 

Many of our members have been contacted by magazines for features, after joining Truly Texan.

HGTV has contacted us several times above various shows/projects.

Specifics:

• Being listed on Truly Texan will probably improve your own website's ranking in searches since we are considered a "quality" website;
• Listing and link on Truly Texan's entry page, site map page, and window shop page;
• Listing and link on appropriate product or service page, such as Jewelry.  If appropriate, we will list you on a second page.  Most members are rotated through the Cowboy Style page (but it's not appropriate for all members).
• Benefits of Truly Texan's opt-in mailing list (more than 2900 names at last count)
• You get the benefit of our Truly Texan print and online advertising;
• Co-op advertising opportunities in addition to the advertising we do;
• No minimum membership requirements (if you pay the setup fee).  We do require 30 days notice when you want to quit.  We'll try not to sob too much

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.  Monthly fees are due in advance.   The billing period starts on the 24th of each month with payment due by the first.  You may pay by check if you pay quarterly.  Pay annually for a 10% discount!   All invoicing is done via email.
